CREATING A SPACE TO EXPLORE ALL PERIODS OF ART HISTORY

About Analisa

My passion for art history started when I was 15 years old. Being required to take a fine arts credit for high school, I lacked any artistic ability. The next option was art history and it changed my life!

I attended the University of Washington, Seattle. The best experience was studying abroad for four months in Rome, Italy, and getting to see the art that I had studied in person. In 2013, I graduated with an Honors Bachelor of Art History with an emphasis on Early Christian and Medieval Art. Though life has taken me in another direction, art history will always be my true passion.

I also have a master's in secondary education with an emphasis in the humanities from Grand Canyon University. My goal is to use my background in art history with educational techniques to provide access to art history education to anyone who is curious!

I started Accessible Art History as a fun and easy way for everyone to learn about art and to create a community of fellow history lovers.
